At the ceremony to announce and present the 2022 Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Award at the National Forum on Developing Vietnam’s Digital Technology Enterprises in 2022 organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications on December 8, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN ) feels honored that 02 products were recognized as “Make in Vietnam” products.

Make in Vietnam 2022 digital technology product is an information and communication technology award, audited annually by the Ministry of Information and Communication and awarded to Vietnamese organizations and companies with high-quality products and services are researched, designed, developed in Vietnam and manufactured and contribute to the advancement of digital government, digital economy and digital society in Vietnam. After almost 6 months from the start, the organizing committee has received more than 218 applications for the award.

As a result of the selection and award process, two EVN products were recognized as “Make in Vietnam” in 2022. Both products were researched, developed and manufactured by Electrical Measuring Equipment Manufacturing Center, Central Power Electronics, belongs to Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC).

In particular, the Smart Electronic Meter product won the Make in Vietnam Top 10 Products, the category of digital economy excellence digital products.

This is a product that EVNCPC engineers have researched, designed, tested, produced and commissioned with 28 kinds of 1-phase, 3-phase, 1-tariff and many kinds of electronic meters since 2000. The products meet all electricity meter requirements, meet international standards and comply with Vietnamese metrology and regulatory standards.

The product of the fast charging station for electric cars reached the brand’s top 10 in Vietnam in the category of potential digital products. This is the result of a team of engineers and technical staff of EVNCPC researching and manufacturing.

So far, the Central Power Electronics Manufacturing Center has installed charging stations for 13 member power companies and has worked with General Electric Company Vietnam Oil Company (PVOIL) in testing electric vehicle charging stations connected to the solar power system.
