QUANG TRI In the early days of the Lunar New Year, the fishing port of Cua Viet is busy with boats coming and going. Vessels filled with seafood delight fishermen.

Cua Viet fishing port (including South Cua Viet and North Cua Viet) welcomed dozens of vessels for loading and unloading in the spring of Quy Mao.

Since the Vietnamese fishing port of Nam Cua (Trieu An municipality, Trieu Phong district) is currently being repaired and modernized, the number of berthing and discharging ships is very limited. A few kilometers away, the North Cua Viet fishing port in Cua Viet town (Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province) is full of incoming and outgoing ships.

According to shipowners, although the yield of each fishing trip this year is no higher than in previous years, the price of seafood is stable, making sea voyages profitable.
