According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium, on January 23, 2023, the EU issued a notice of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/147 of January 20, 2023 amending Annexes II, III and V of Regulation 396/2005 on threshold values for residues of Cyromazine (pesticide), Topramezone (herbicide) and Triflumizole (fungicide) in or on certain products.
Accordingly, the residue limit for cyromazine on fresh/frozen fruits and nuts is 0.01 mg/kg; on fresh/frozen vegetables 0.01 mg/kg; on oilseeds and oleaginous fruits 0.01 mg/kg; on grain is 0.02 mg/kg; on tea, coffee, herbal tea and cocoa 0.1 mg/kg; on animal products from 0.01-0.05 mg/kg
Residue limits for topramezone are 0.005 mg/kg on fresh/frozen fruits and nuts, 0.005 mg/kg on fresh/frozen vegetables, 0.005 mg/kg on seeds and oilseeds and 0.01 mg/kg on cereals; on tea, coffee, herbal tea and cocoa is 0.02 mg/kg; on animal products from 0.002 to 0.01 mg/kg.
The residue limit for triflumizole on fresh/frozen fruits and nuts is 0.02 mg/kg, on fresh/frozen vegetables 0.02 mg/kg, on seeds and oilseeds 0.02 mg/kg, on cereals 0.02 mg/kg ; on tea, coffee, herbal tea and cocoa 0.1 mg/kg; on animal products from 0.01 to 0.05 mg/kg.
This regulation will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal and will be applied 6 months after its entry into force.
