From May 25th to 28th, 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City Export Fair will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – Ho Chi Minh City (SECC).

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, this is the first export fair to be held in Ho Chi Minh City under the presidency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. city ​​takes place. The implementing body is the City Department of Industry and Commerce and the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Commerce).

Export fairs are organized to support businesses and create favorable conditions for them to have the opportunity to meet in person and find potential partners, importers and buyers at an economical cost. At the same time, creating favorable conditions for domestic enterprises to orient themselves, export goods, enter trade, link trade and expand markets.

In particular, the fair also aims to connect and connect places (sales, consumption, cultivation and production areas); between domestic companies, foreign companies, representative offices and funding organizations.

In addition, the Export Fair will also act as a bridge to encourage the overseas Vietnamese community to organize the distribution of Vietnamese goods into the importing country’s distribution system.

The export fair is expected to include about 250 booths of Vietnamese and foreign companies in Vietnam to exhibit products that meet quality standards. “The pavilion area for presenting products for exporters, gold-branded companies and export booths of places is the highlight at the export fair,” said the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City.

Expected to be held on May 25th and 26th, 2023 is the Forum “Promoting Regional Connections to Green Exports” to discuss and propose solutions to promote regional connections in three important areas: important role of economy: industry – agriculture – trade and services, Ensuring the principle of sustainable construction and development of a social production and consumption system to maximize services, towards green exports, contribute to the gradual transformation of the economic structure into a circular economy model, discuss the difficulties and weaknesses of current exports such as export dependence on imports and investment business sector abroad with low domestic added value, high logistics costs and hardly changed market diversification and products.

On this occasion, the “Vietnamese Agricultural Products Reach Far” forum was also held to provide and update information for companies on the development trends of the world market and international supply chains in the field of agricultural products and processed foods, as well as to develop solutions for the development of raw material supply chains; Promote the production of agricultural products and processed foods that meet international standards for export…
