On the afternoon of March 30, Loc Troi Seed Joint Stock Company signed an extension of the permit agreement for the use and development of hybrid corn LVN10 with the Maize Research Institute to serve farmers.

Loc Troi Seed Joint Stock Company (LTS) is a member of Loc Troi Group Joint Stock Company (LTG). Over the years, LTS has self-produced and built a distribution system for many kinds of quality plant varieties for domestic and foreign farmers.

Accordingly, LTS has signed contracts for the transfer of the right to produce and trade plant varieties with many domestic and foreign entities, thereby choosing to produce and supply plant varieties suitable for the conditions of the country, climate and soil conditions of the Countries of Vietnam are suitable, which brings high efficiency to farmers.

Since 2012, LTS has signed an agreement to transfer the right to produce and trade hybrid corn varieties AG59 (LVN145) and LVN10. In 2022, LTS will continue to receive the right to use hybrid corn varieties LTS237 and LTS172 from the Maize Research Institute, which will help increase corn production for animal feed.

Hybrid corn variety LVN10 has been extended for traffic by the Department of Crop Production (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) pursuant to Decision 295/QD-TT-CLT of October 18, 2022. This is a variety used to grow seeds for animal feed, has strong growing ability, good drought tolerance, and adapts to many different countries; can sow 3 crops/year, yield of 8-9 tons/ha, at a rate of 2 maize/plant.

According to the permit agreement for the use and development of the hybrid corn variety LVN10, LTS is entitled to transfer the rights to the production technology, the production right and the right to trade this variety inside and outside of Vietnam by the end of 2027. The Maize Research Institute will organize training courses on F1 seed production techniques and LVN10 hybrid corn intensive cultivation techniques, while also dispatching technical advisors to LTS to bring the technology into production and help deliver quality seed Good quality, high germination rate for farmers.
