Mr. Hoang said the manufacturing process of dong vermicelli has to go through many steps, including cleaning the dong, grinding the dong, filtering the dong flour, coating the vermicelli, drying the vermicelli and cutting the vermicelli.

Aware of the increasing consumer demand for vermicelli products, the cooperative attaches particular importance to ensuring food hygiene and safety in the production process. According to Mr. Hoang, despite the application of machine technology, the current production of vermicelli still needs to be done manually at certain stages and depends on the natural environment, such as drying rice paper to dry the rice paper. In addition, the cooperative diversified its products and packaged products in many different volumes and sizes to meet the needs of consumers. In particular, Mr. Hoang would like to further develop the line of dipping vermicelli and instant vermicelli, thereby increasing the product value.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, head of the Binh Lieu District Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, stressed that Binh Lieu vermicelli is currently a 4-star OCOP product from Quang Ninh. The vermicelli market in Binh Lieu is growing rapidly.
