In implementing the food production plan in 2023 (4.4 million tons), Kien Giang farmers have fully sown and harvested a total area of ​​349,583 hectares year-to-date, with an estimated yield of nearly 2.53 million tons Rice. The proportion of high-quality rice varieties is more than 98% of the total cultivated area.
