This is the General Commercial Service Joint Stock Company (WCM) representative’s share of the 2023 Conference to Promote Lychee Consumption in Luc Ngan District to be held on June 7th.

Bac Giang Province is famous for its high-quality agricultural products and specialties that are popular with many consumers, especially Luc Ngan lychee. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao – Senior Purchasing Manager of WCM Retail Chain shared, “With the benefit of more than 130 WinMart supermarkets and 3500 WinMart+ stores, we consume thousands of tons of lychee every year, including Luc Ngan lychee, which we purchased from cooperatives and companies in Bac Giang Province.”

In the coming period, WCM will spend a week introducing and promoting Luc Ngan lychee at direct sales outlets across the country and e-commerce platforms to bring consumers closer to the brand and value of this fruit. Given this fact, over the years the Luc Ngan lychee has always been positively received by the customers of the WinMart/WinMart+ system and has become one of the chain’s main seasonal fruits.

This year, WinMart/WinMart+ worked with farmers in Bac Giang Province to sign a contract to purchase lychee just before harvest. At the conference, WCM representatives discussed the process of purchasing and preserving lychee before consumption in the system with producers and farmers in the province. The entire source of goods is controlled under a strict process to ensure that the goods entered into the system are of the best quality.
