The massive increase in area, lack of control, following the movement, not following the guidance and recommendations of management agencies and specialized agencies will lead to unpredictable consequences, oversupply over demand and excess, flooding of the market and even worse, in unsuitable areas such as salt and alum areas, areas that are not actively irrigated and drained, which will cause serious damage to durian productivity and quality in Vietnam.

In view of the above situation, the Ministry of Crop Production proposed to the provincial and municipal ministries of agriculture and rural development to further guide the departments and branches to develop durian sustainably and effectively, in line with the overall development orientation of industry, districts, Cities, municipalities, companies, cooperatives (cooperatives), households growing durian are seriously implementing the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Directive No. 8084/CT-BNN-TT.

In addition, rely on propaganda and dissemination to gradually change habits and production consciousness according to the movement and the majority.
