The Agricultural Trade Promotion Center organizes a point for introducing safe agricultural products and products of traditional Vietnamese villages (hereinafter referred to as “agricultural product introduction point”), which is regularly operated on the first floor of the exhibition building. Agricultural products introduction point is a place for trade and product consumption connection between producers, processors, traders of agricultural products and traditional village handicraft products with merchants, supermarkets, grocery stores and online sales directly to consumers in Hanoi and neighboring provinces; Supporting communities, cooperatives and companies in organizing weekly events to promote regional specialty agricultural products and quality food.
At the same time, propagate, promote the brand, honor safe agricultural, forestry and fishery products to create a sustainable bridge between supply and demand along the value chain from production to consumption; Directly advising customers and consumers on the benefits of consuming safe agricultural products, and helping Vietnamese agricultural products to maintain their market position, with an emphasis on exploiting the domestic market, under the motto “Advocacy Vietnamese prioritize the use of Vietnamese goods” and “Vietnamese goods conquer Vietnamese consumers”.
The agricultural products introduction point has a size of 1,000 m2 and presents local specialties, typical products of companies and cooperatives, such as , cashew nuts, gotu kola powder, herbal extracts, organic tea, traditional fish sauce, dried buffalo meat, ganoderma lucidum, Muong Khuong Chili Sauce, Essential Oils, Shiitake Mushrooms, Ear Buds, Bamboo Shoots, Vermicelli… and Open to Visitors Visit, shop and trade daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The Agricultural Product Introduction Point involves units that are the focal points for the distribution and consumption of agricultural products in Hanoi, traditional handicraft villages, cooperatives, production complexes, enterprises that trade and process agricultural products in the market. Customers who come to the agricultural products consumption point can learn, choose to buy high-quality agricultural products, and ensure food safety and hygiene.
In particular, on the occasion of the 22nd International Agricultural Exhibition – AgroViet 2022, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center has collaborated with a number of municipalities to organize the week of consumption of citrus products. The event will run continuously from September 15 to September 22, 2022 to connect trade and introduce consumers to citrus products that are local specialties such as: Pomelo from Doan Hung (Phu-Tho); Grapefruit from Phuc Trach (Ha Tinh), Grapefruit with green skin (Ben Tre)…
In addition to the presentation of products, activities such as: advisory forum, providing information for start-ups in agriculture; Design consultation conference, product packaging design in accordance with the needs of the market; Forum on the connection of agricultural products in the market of the Netherlands and the Nordic countries.
