A crystal table lamp can not only be the centerpiece of your table, but also of the whole room. There are so many designs to choose from – a modern design, an antique design or even the retro look. Although not very popular yet, some manufacturers also make battery powered table lamps to save energy. I did extensive research at my favorite online retailer, Amazon.com, and picked out some of my favorite table lamps that I’d like to feature.

As we all know, whenever we talk about the best crystal table lamp, we have to start with Waterford Crystal. Nothing beats the quality, style and sheer beauty of Waterford Crystal products. So first, let’s take a look at this 26-inch Waterford crystal table lamp.

This table lamp has a brass base in a step-up design, starting with the largest step at the bottom. The carved feet really set this lamp apart and the glass stem gives the lamp a stylish yet open feel. The white fabric shade is 16 inches tall and features a 3-way rotary light switch that lets you set the lighting level you want. The maximum light bulb you should use is a 100 watt light bulb. Only a little assembly is required for this Waterford Crystal lamp, the whole process takes 5 minutes.

This lamp is classically designed and the glass rod really suits any contemporary or modern setting. And while you might think that a Waterford crystal lamp is very expensive, you can actually get this beautiful crystal lamp for a discount of around $425.

If you’re looking to spend a little less on your crystal table lamp but still want a modern feel at a reduced price, take a look at this Crystal Body table lamp. This is a beautifully designed lamp with four glass spheres that increase in size from top to bottom. It has a white shade that provides perfect lighting without detracting from the modern style. This lamp also uses the 3-way switch and a maximum 100 watt bulb.

This lamp isn’t cheap, but you can get it for a pretty good discount of $164. This is $85 off the list price. Not a bad price for one of the most beautiful lamps I’ve ever seen.

If you are looking for a vintage crystal table lamp with an antique look, we have what you need with this vintage crystal table lamp. This lamp has a crackling red stem that has a gold and slate finish. The remarkable hand painting really gives the antique looking lamp a vintage feel – like something you would see in your grandmother’s house decades ago.

It has a fabric shade that distributes the light evenly to give you perfect lighting. The 4 crystals each require a candelabra bulb and come with an in-line switch. I think this vintage light fixture is perfect if you prefer the antique look over a modern feel. This lamp is one of the cheapest vintage crystal lamps with a discount of $172.

Now this crystal table lamp with a contemporary crystal-like shade is very unique and modern. It’s certainly the complete opposite of the antique lamps we just looked at! This lamp has chandelier style lighting from the 3 glass “lampshades”. It has a slender stem and a rounded base to give it plenty of support. It is made of acrylic and steel and, according to the manufacturer, is easy to assemble. It uses regular 40 watt chandelier bulbs that you should be able to get at any hardware store. I’m not sure what kind of lighting this lamp offers, but it is certainly one of the most unique, elegant and modern table lamps out there!

I really wanted to find a cordless crystal table lamp to show you, but turns out there aren’t very many battery operated table lamps out there. So let’s take a look at this cordless LED lamp from BettyLou instead. This lamp is made of almost 100% glass and fits into any modern environment. Since it is battery operated, you always have to ask yourself how long it will last. Well, the answer is that this cordless light provides excellent lighting for over 7 hours. It features a very efficient LED light that allows it to provide light over a longer period of time, making this battery operated lamp perfect for special occasions or even everyday use.

There’s not really a discount on this cordless lamp, but it’s still unique enough to be worth its $199 price tag.

Now there are different types and styles of table lamps that you can choose from. For example, Tiffany lamps are distinguished from other lamps by the type of shade they have. You can even split Tiffany lamps into more styles – Victorian and Mission. Mica table lamps are also becoming increasingly popular with their fascinating light distribution. Another choice are wrought iron lamps with their different designs and distinctive looks.

Finally, don’t forget the lampshades. Lampshades are no longer just an accent piece. They are often the focal point of the entire lamp. Lampshades come in a variety of materials, including silk, glass, paper, and metal.
