Price for live pigs in the north today 12.12 remained stable compared to yesterday.
Yen Bai and Lao Cai continued to have flat prices of VND 51,000/kg, the lowest in the region.
The highest price is currently 53,000 VND/kg and is recorded in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi and Tuyen Quang.
52,000 VND/kg is the price in the other locations.
Thus, today, 12/12/2022, the price of live pigs is trading at 51,000 – 53,000 VND/kg in the northern market.
Live pig price today 12.12. in Central-Central Highlands
Central and central highland live pig prices today, 12.12 is also moving sideways compared to yesterday.
Notably, Lam Dong is currently anchored at VND 54,000/kg, holding the highest price in the region.
Priced at VND 53,000/kg, there are Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan.
51,000 VND/kg is the lowest price in the region today and was recorded in Dak Lak and Binh Thuan.
The other localities continued to trade stably at the price of 52,000 VND/kg.

Therefore, as of today, 12/12/2022, the price of live pig continues to trade around the 51,000-55,000 VND/kg threshold throughout the south.
November 2022 live pig prices are all down
In general, the price of live pig across the country fell in November 2022 due to lower consumer demand.
The price of live pig in the north dropped by 2,000-4,000 VND/kg; the central region and central highlands decreased by VND 2,000-3,000/kg; and the southern market declined slightly by VND1,000-2,000/kg.
While livestock farming costs are still high at an average of VND 60,000/kg, the risk of loss for pig farmers is certain.
In some traditional markets in Hanoi, the price of pork varies between 90,000 and 130,000/kg.
Buttock meat in particular remained at VND 90,000/kg; pork leg meat VND 100,000/kg; Bacon is kept only at 105,000 – 110,000 VND/kg; Fillet costs 120,000 – 130,000 VND/kg…
At the current price, pork is down about VND 40,000 compared to September.
