The Prime Minister highlighted a number of records achieved by the group in 2022. That’s record crude oil production of 8.98 million tons, exceeding 28% of the annual plan; Record production and export of nitrogenous fertilizers with 1.88 million tons (over 17% of the plan), export of 606,000 tons with high value, contribution of 37.4% to the fertilizer export value of US$1.08 billion, turning our country from an importer to a high-value fertilizer exporter; Record petroleum production, including Nghi Son and Dung Quat refineries and petrochemicals, which supply about 75% of domestic petroleum demand.
The group also generated a record total revenue of VND931.2 trillion (equivalent to nearly US$40 billion) over the past 61 years, confirming its role as a leading state-owned business group of scale and influence. Recorded consolidated pre-tax profit of over VND82 trillion (nearly US$3.5 billion); Record payments to the state budget of VND 170.6 trillion (more than USD 7.2 billion), which is about 9.6% of the total state budget revenue.

In 2022, all production and business targets in 5 PVN areas will complete the annual plan and grow at a high rate of 3-26% compared to 2021.

In the 2023 plan, PVN sets the group’s sales target of VND 677.7 trillion (excluding Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company), consolidated profit of VND 34 trillion, and pays VND 78.3 trillion to the state budget.
