According to Mr. Do Hung Thang, the cost of storing yards in the port for each reefer currently costs companies about USD 100/day, equivalent to VND 2.4 million/day. Also, the electricity bill to keep the reefer running is about VND1.6-1.8 million/day. Therefore, without waiting for the results of the quarantine, companies save up to 4 million VND/refrigerated containers every day and will soon be able to deliver goods to partners.
