However, when the state issued the policy to convert the small slaughterhouse to a centralized slaughterhouse, my family changed the slaughter schedule at 4-5am to accommodate the needs of the customers while ensuring the work was done in accordance with the policy Country”.
According to Mr. Huynh Ngoc Diep, director of Binh Dinh Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subdepartment, from June 13, the delegation will prepare the work of the province’s agricultural sector and the smooth relocation of small slaughterhouses to the central slaughterhouse. Fix the slaughter
According to Mr. Bui Tan Loc, vice chairman of the people’s committee of Binh Dinh district (An Nhon city), there are 14 households in this place that bring pigs to the factory for slaughter, there are 74 pigs in total, of which households are registered the number the pigs. 10-20 kids tall.
In the case of unregistered small-scale slaughterhouses, the station functional departments continuously check to prevent cases of clandestine slaughter at home.
“Before, in An Nhon city, there were 115 households slaughtering cattle and small poultry scattered in residential areas, when Nhon An concentrated animal slaughter factory operated, 95 households registered to bring animals to the slaughterhouse.
There are still some issues at the beginning of operations, but we will continue to discuss with the slaughterhouses to find solutions. “The compliance of the slaughterhouses in the region in the first phase is a positive signal, everything will be put in order step by step,” said Mr. Phan Thanh Hoa, head of the Economic Department of An Nhon City.
“In accordance with the transport of cattle to the central slaughterhouse, I signed up for the slaughter of two pigs a day. In the first few days of operation, I found that the pigs slaughtered at the factory met food hygiene and safety requirements. However, there is a problem: I signed up to slaughter 2 pigs per day. The factory just set up a cage to fit two pigs.
However, when the farmer called for sale of pigs and sold the whole barn of 10 pigs, I was forced to buy all 10 but couldn’t buy 1-2 and I didn’t know where to keep the other 8 for slaughter. While the slaughterhouse at home has been demolished, there is no place for captivity at home.
In this regard, I suggest that the factory think again to solve the trouble for the slaughterhouse,” suggested Mr. Muoi My, a cattle slaughterhouse in Binh Dinh District (An Nhon City).
Mr. Huynh Ngoc Diep, director of Binh Dinh Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sub-department, estimated that thanks to good lobbying by functional departments of An Nhon City and Tuy Phuoc District, the percentage of households sent to small-scale slaughterhouses has increased for the concentrated slaughter in the region reached a high rate.
In order to meet the requirements, Binh Dinh Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sub-department has dispatched ten veterinary workers to the factory to carry out slaughter inspection and veterinary hygiene inspection to ensure cattle are first inspected during and after slaughter.
The provincial intersectoral mission, chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, will coordinate with relevant units and places to regularly check and control the slaughter situation from residential areas to markets and ensure that meat products are sold through centralized slaughter, thereby Food safety and hygiene are guaranteed. Slaughterhouses that are inactive and fail to bring their animals to the central slaughterhouse will be coerced and penalized under the regulations,” said Mr. Huynh Ngoc Diep, Director of Binh Dinh Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sub-department.
