After its inception, the association was commissioned by the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province to develop a project to develop the durian industry in the region. In addition, the association soon consolidated its bodies, built up new members …
Notably, the association also agreed with the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee to consult the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to set up a local quarantine station to directly export durian from Dak Lak to the Chinese market.
At the meeting, the members of the association also agreed on the establishment of branches in districts and cities. Establishing branches to support disease control, protect growing area codes…
According to the association members, this year many companies will come to Dak Lak to invest in durian production and export, to engage there. Therefore, the association must accelerate the call and invite durian companies in Dak Lak province to participate. Since companies, whether affiliated with the association or not, also do business in Dak Lak province, joining will help the association develop sustainably.
In addition, Dak Lak Durian has a short harvest time and a large yield, so the association also needs to prepare well plans so as not to be pressured into consuming it.
