Mr. Do Danh Toan, Director of Toan Nga Green Startup Cooperative shared, “The production of vermicelli must meet rules such as no bleaching chemicals, no dyes, no preservatives and natural drying under the sun and sunny weather to let the yarn dry .

When eaten, the vermicelli is not hard, has a natural crunch and has the aroma of galangal. Currently, our Thai vermicelli product meets the provincial 3-star OCOP criteria in 2022. The product is not only bought by many retailers, but also offered for sale through the social network Facebook. , e-commerce sales channel shopee, cooperative website, in particular, the product has participated in fairs and exhibitions many times, and promoted and presented products inside and outside the province.

Currently, there are 4 vermicelli production bases in the municipality, and 2 products of Toan Nga Green Startup Cooperative and Viet Hai Dang Cooperative have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products, the consumption value is between 60,000-70,000 VND/kg. Since then, it has helped create jobs and increase people’s incomes.

While the production and trade of tea has faced many difficulties in many places in recent years, people in Bao Hung Township (Tran Yen District) are living well thanks to the production and processing of clean tea. Realizing that tea is a valuable commodity, with the potential to increase people’s income, the community has set up a cooperative to produce high-quality green tea to consume tea buds for people in the area.

Currently, more than 150 ha of tea in the community are mainly high quality tea grown, tended and harvested according to VietGAP organic tea standards. This is the basis for Bao Hung High Quality Green Tea Production Cooperative to produce 2 Bat Tien tea products that meet 3-star and 4-star OCOP standards.

At the same time, participants in the OCOP program are guided to focus on improving and perfecting QR code creation, label printing, product packaging design, intellectual property rights establishment, and building a website for selling products to concentrate.

After more than 3 years of implementation, the OCOP program has been answered and actively involved by the party committees, authorities at all levels, the political system and the people. Municipalities and cities implementing the OCOP program to varying degrees have built and developed a wide variety of products and goods, demonstrating people’s creativity; Support activities are professionally organized and in-depth. The selection of registration of products and participating entities corresponds to the requirements and content of the program.

Products, services, especially agricultural products, are very diverse in nature and can be developed and standardized, so it is very convenient for product classification. Tran Yen District OCOP products are interested by customers inside and outside the province, distributors and many participating units have signed distribution contracts with supermarkets and agents.
