In 2023, the Center for Science and Technology Application and Seed Testing will implement a model of growing melons in greenhouses and net houses using a model DCT.01 DA 8W insect trapping lamp in the household of Mr. Bui Van Duy in the municipality. Kim Xuyen (Kim Thanh District) and Mr. Vu Van Phong in Chi Lang Nam Township (Thanh Mien District) with a total area of 2,000 m2.
As a result, the households stopped using pesticides and instead used lamps to catch insects, but there were no harmful insects in the garden. Households use creative lights, do not leave the lights fixed at one point, but continuously move the lights to many different places in the garden in a 5-7 day cycle.
