On the afternoon of October 31, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, just after the end of the talks, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, and General Secretary of the Party and President of the Socialist Republic of China Xi Jinping saw at this official Visit 13 documents signed by departments, ministries, branches, central and local authorities.

The 13 signed documents include:

Cooperation Agreement between the Central Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Department of External Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Committee for Internal Affairs of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Memorandum of Understanding on Friendship and Cooperation for 2022-2027 between the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Chinese People’s Association for Foreign Relations.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam and the Ministry of Justice of China.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnamese capital Hanoi and the Chinese capital Beijing.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of China to Strengthen Cooperation to Secure the Vietnam-China Supply Chain.

Memorandum of Understanding between the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China on establishing priority areas for cooperation.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Ecology and Environment between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China on Food Safety in Vietnam-China Bilateral Trade.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, China, to strengthen economic and trade cooperation.

Culture and Tourism Cooperation Plan between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China for 2023-2027.

Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Exchanges and Cooperation in the Field of State Assets and State-Owned Enterprises between the Committee on State-Owned Enterprise Management of Vietnam and the Commission on State-Owned Asset Management and Supervision of China.

Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for Fresh Bananas Exported from Vietnam to China between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China.

Earlier, during talks on the same day, Party Secretary-General and President Xi Jinping assessed the visit of Party Secretary-General Nguyen Phu Trong as of particular significance for the two countries and Vietnam-China relations. He stressed that Secretary-General Nguyen Phu Trong was the first Chinese leader to be welcomed after the 20th Chinese Communist Party National Congress and Secretary-General Nguyen Phu Trong’s first visit to China after the 13th Chinese Communist Party Congress, Vietnam has great Significance shown the two-party and two-country relationship.

At the talks, the two leaders discussed in-depth key orientations on enhancing trust, strengthening friendship, enhancing the effectiveness of substantive cooperation in all fields, and maintaining peace and stability on the world seas to strengthen the Vietnamese-Chinese Relationships continue to develop healthy, stable and sustainable in the time to come.

The two sides agreed to continue regular high-level exchanges and contacts between the leaders of the two parties and countries to improve mutual understanding, timely conduct exchanges, and solve problems arising from bilateral relations, the friendly situation and to maintain the healthy and stable development dynamic of Vietnam-China relations.

The two secretaries-general also discussed in detail the areas of substantive cooperation and agreed on the need to greatly promote and improve the efficiency of economic, trade and investment cooperation and lay a basis for the development of bilateral cooperation Relationships; Emphasizing that Vietnam and China are mutually very important and potential trading partners.
