Are you tired of your office chair constantly breaking? A lot of people have a problem with their office chairs and the reason is that they don’t know what to do to keep them from constantly breaking. If you want to prevent your office chair from breaking down so easily, you must do everything you can to take care of it and treat it properly.
Have you ever pushed your office chair under a desk so hard that you feel like the monitor is about to fall off? This is one of the ways people break their chairs and you really shouldn’t have a reason to do it. When moving your chair you need to be aware of what you are doing. My advice is to always use two hands when doing anything with your chair. This will help you take control of what you are doing, which will ultimately help your chair.
Another thing that will help you a lot is to only clean your chair once in a while. This doesn’t really help keep your stool intact longer, but it does make you think that this is your stool and you need to take care of it. If you own something, you’ll most likely treat it better, and that’s what you’re going to try to get through to yourself here.
Another thing you can do to prevent your chair from breaking is to have two chairs. The benefit of owning 2 chairs is that you only use them half the time, halving the breakage rate. I know this may seem like an exaggeration, but you can’t be too cautious when it comes to high-priced office furniture. Trust me I used to use 4-5 chairs a year but when you go through that many you start to figure out what you are doing wrong.
Just do yourself a favor and treat things as if they were actually in your home. You need to treat your chairs like they are your favorite armchairs in your home. As I said before, you have to do something so that you don’t use up 4 or 5 chairs every year like I do, and if you have to, buy a wooden office chair. Just know that there are a lot of great chairs out there that you can get your hands on, so find the ones that work well for you.
